What is a link-in-bio page?
A link-in-bio page is a simple public page hosted at hidurl.com/p/your-slug that you can share anywhere - Instagram bio, Twitter profile, email signature, etc. It shows your name, bio, avatar, social profiles, and a list of clickable links, all in one place. Instead of switching between many different URLs, you share a single page.
How do I create a page?
Go to Dashboard → Pages and click New Page. Choose a template that fits your style, then click Create Page. You'll be taken straight to the editor where you can set your page title, slug, bio, and avatar, and start adding links. Your page is created in draft mode (inactive) so you can finish editing before making it live.
How do I make my page live or take it offline?
In the page editor, use the toggle at the top of the page next to the Live / Off badge. When set to Live (active), your page is publicly accessible at hidurl.com/p/your-slug. When Off (inactive), visitors see a 404 - useful while you're still setting it up. You can toggle this at any time.
How do I add links to my page?
Open the page editor (Dashboard → Pages → Edit). Scroll to the Links section and click Add Link. You can add two types of blocks:
• Link block - a clickable button with a title and destination URL. Optionally add an emoji icon.
• Text block - a heading or paragraph for section dividers or descriptions.
Drag the handle on the left side of any block to reorder them. Toggle the eye icon to hide a specific link without deleting it.
How do I customize my page?
In the page editor you can set:
• Title - your display name shown at the top of the page
• Slug - the URL path (e.g. hidurl.com/p/your-slug). Must be lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
• Bio - a short description shown below your name
• Avatar URL - a link to your profile photo
• Template - choose from Minimal, Dark, Gradient, Card, Retro, or Glass layouts
• Social links - add links to your Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, or website
All changes save instantly when you click Save.
Can I add social media links to my page?
Yes. In the page editor, scroll to the Social Links section. You can add URLs for Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, GitHub, YouTube, and your website. These appear as icon buttons at the top of your public page, separate from your main link blocks.
How many pages can I create?
The number of pages you can create depends on your plan. Check your current usage in Dashboard → Pages. If you've reached your limit, you'll need to
upgrade your plan to create more pages.
How do I change my page's URL (slug)?
In the page editor, find the Slug field under the page title. Edit it and click Save. The slug must be unique, lowercase, and contain only letters, numbers, and hyphens (minimum 3 characters). Note: changing the slug immediately breaks any old links pointing to the previous URL - update wherever you've shared the link.
Can I delete a page?
Yes. Go to Dashboard → Pages, find the page card, and click the trash icon. You'll be asked to confirm. Deleting a page permanently removes it and all its links - the public URL immediately stops working. This action cannot be undone.
