1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HidURL ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You may use HidURL to create short links, track analytics, and access the API in accordance with your plan. You agree not to use the Service to:

• Distribute malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
• Conduct phishing, fraud, or any deceptive activity
• Share illegal content or infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications
• Abuse, harass, threaten, or harm any individual
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or security controls

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. HidURL is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

4. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. All payments are processed securely through Authorize.Net. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time.

5. Link Limits and Fair Use

Each plan includes defined URL creation limits and monthly click quotas. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that exceed fair use or engage in abusive patterns, including automated bulk link creation beyond plan limits.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may also delete your account from the settings page at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed after a 30-day grace period.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software comprising the HidURL platform are the property of HidURL and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the URLs and content you submit, and grant HidURL a limited license to process and store them solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. HidURL does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HidURL's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim. HidURL is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
